What is Time Wizard format?

Time Wizard format is a recent addition to tournaments that are sanctionable for Konami. The term is a bit of a blanket that allows stores to sanction some of the best and most popular formats from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.

What is Time Wizard format?

In the Time Wizard format a tournament format is determined with a Banned and Restricted list from a previous era. Players will be allowed to play with this Banned and Restricted list only using card releases that were legal at the time of that Banned and Restricted list.

Have a card that used to work differently? All cards will use whatever their legal text was during the format, meaning cards like crush card virus and sangan will work how they originally were printed. If played in a format where these cards had that text.
